It was Spring of 2015 and Iris was unable to secure after-school transportation for her oldest child. As a single, working mother, she knew it was up to her to figure it out. Iris would take a late lunch from her corporate position, fight through the dreaded car rider line, transport her child to a sitter, and rush back to work within the hour. As you might imagine, that became very old, very fast. Which is why Iris was so grateful when she connected with Kimmie who quickly became family, her childcare provider and now business partner. It was sacrifice and determination that inspired what is now called KimmieandICare!

Meet Kimberly Altman, 29 years of age, full time childcare worker, young, reliable and driven. Childcare became a secondary source of income when Kim was in college back in 2015. It wasn't until the pandemic that Kim was pushed to do childcare full-time. Kim prides herself for the way she manages serval different client schedule request and needs from each client. She makes every child feel safe under her care. She admits that this line of work can be challenging but she till does it with ease and enjoys every moment.

Iris M. Hunt and Kimberly S. Altman are the co-founders and CEO of Kimmie and I Care, a kids transportation and childcare service. They both finds tenacity, strong vision, and willingness to take chances to be their most valuable qualities for success in running their company.
